Join Alan & Gaynor from the UProjects team for a leisurely walk to Foxdenton Park from the Crossley Centre.

Approximately 2.5 miles and suitable for all the family we will take a route that takes in areas of Chadderton including a stroll through Foxdenton Park.
No special equipment needed, just suitable clothing and footwear for the weather.
Children under 18 must be accompanied be a responsible parent or guardian.

This regular weekly walking group are super friendly and always welcome new walkers to join them, a great way to make new friends whilst keeping active.

Join Alan & Gaynor from the UProjects team for a family friendly stroll to Oldham’s historic and award winning Alexandra Park.

Starting at the Primrose Centre we’ll take a 10 minute stroll to the Park and explore its beautiful lakes, pathways and greenspace.

A stroll around Chadderton Hall Park to celebrate The National Walking Month of May

Join UProjects Alan & Gaynor for a social stroll in and around the lovely Chadderton Hall Park.

Meeting at the Pavillion Cafe, situated at the park entrance from 10:45 for a 11:00 start, we will stroll a route that will follow the river Irk that flows through the park and a section of the Rochdale Canal. The walk will last about an hour returning to the cafe by 12:00.

Wild Bank Hill Social Walk

Join the UProjects team for a 6.5 mile walk over Wild Bank Hill in Stalybridge

The western flank of Wild Bank rises from the valley of the River Tame to a height of 399 metres. To the east of the summit, the ground falls away more gradually to Shaw Moor and Hollingworthhall Moor, beyond which are Mottram in Longdendale and Hollingworth Since 2004, the moorland in the area of the pike has been classed as access land. From the summit the centre of Manchester, Winter Hill and the Cheshire Plane can be seen. On very clear days the mountains of Snowdonia are visible.

A reasonable level of fitness is required for this walk
